NZ People

New Zealand is a beautiful country, perhaps the most beautiful I've ever been to. It is also very unique in the way they take care not to harm nature. I remember while trekking for a few days, we were not allowed to wash our dishes in the river with any kind of detergent, so as not to damage animals and plants.

But the most remarkable thing about New Zealand is the people. I have Never met such kind, welcoming, good people. We were hitchhiking in NZ and basically every ride we took turned out into an invitation to come and spend the night in their house or farm. NZ people were more than generous, they were very curious and wanted to learn as much as they could about my country. We had lovely conversations into the night. We met some amazing people like that, some of them stayed my friends for many years later.
