Otorohanga Kiwi House and Native Bird Park
New Zealand

A visit to the Otorohanga Kiwi House and Native Bird Park for NZ birds and reptiles on the way to the Waitomo Caves is something you can add to your itinerary.

The bird and reptile park is actually only a 15 minute drive from the Waitomo Caves so is a good stop to make during a North Island tour.

The Otorohanga park is under ownership of an organisation that has complete dedication to helping conserve the native wildlife, Otorohanga Zoological Society.

This park is an amazing place and it provides the opportunity to see many New Zealand birds and reptiles that you would otherwise be able to see.
